Misheck is our Teacher of English. In the last 12 years, he has held a number of professional roles including English Language lecturer, Business Studies and Economics teacher and corporate trainer in China, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Sudan.
His whole philosophy of education is that all learners are unique and must have a stimulating environment with a teacher as a guide, and he is perfect for the Explorer community as he shares his desire to create that atmosphere and make sure learners meet their full potential. He also believes that learners must have access to hands-on activities and not just being spectators – in comparison to traditional learning methods. This is what makes him an attentive and caring teacher.
Nagalakshmi Sriram is our Teacher of Mathematics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras. She also attained a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Applications from the University of Madras. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in various schools, colleges, universities in India and in Zambia. While in Zambia, she was appointed as the Assistant Dean at Texila American University in the College of Business, Information Technology and Education. She is very excited to teach at the Explorer School and will work hard to ensure all her students perform exceptionally.
Chipo is one of our Teachers of English, she holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in English and Literature with Education from Rusangu University. She has 1 year experience in online teaching, and close to a year of experience in teaching physical classes. She also has 4 years’ experience in freelance writing with Guru, Freelancer and Hub staff Talent online freelancing platforms. She is mainly specialized in online English teaching, proofreading, editing, script writing, Ghost writing, and SEO content writing.
Before engaging in freelance writing and teaching, Chipo spent four to five years as a volunteer youth teacher at Church and 2 years as a Missionary under Rusangu University Missionary Movement. She also actively participated in University programs such Singing and Drama Club acting and script writing. During her time as a student, she served as a Languages Association Vice President, Secretary of the Rusangu Missionary Movement and Director/Script writer of the Rusangu / Languages Drama Club.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, writing, reading, volunteering and singing. She is currently writing a Book and running a word press Blog page that focuses mainly on the Beauty of Africa, its people, and Beliefs.
