About Us
Our mission is to empower children by providing them with a world class education and the foundational skills they need to meet their full potential.
A school without borders
The Explorer School is an online primary and secondary school that does all its teaching remotely over the internet in real-time.

The Explorer School is a division of Explorer Academy, a US based education technology company. Explorer Academy is an affiliate of Nkwashi, a US$1.5 billion private city being developed in Zambia.
Education is often called “the great leveler.” A phrase used to describe the ability for formal education to enable people to attain their full potential, regardless of their backgrounds. Whilst this has historically been true. Access to high quality education has often been a privilege that only those with means can attain. This often starts young, with attendance to prestigious private schools, and the use of private tutors; and thereafter attendance to prestigious universities and colleges. Within the context of culture this is often called “getting a leg-up.” We believe this “boost” shouldn’t be available only to those with the means to afford it, but rather through the internet, high quality international education can be democratized. We are a private school without borders.
